Day 7 - 30 Day Letter Challenge
Letter to a Stranger Dear little girl at the yard sale yesterday, You’re an adorable child and I would like to thank you for making me laugh and smile yesterday. I’m pretty sure you made me happier than anyone else did. Even though you were sort of insanely energetic, I thought you were an awesome child that I would love to babysit, though maybe not be the parent of … who knows...

i'm not afraid. i'm not afraid.
monmonikka: when i was little, i believed in the truth of repetition, that if you said something long enough and with enough intensity, the words would become true.
Day 6 - 30 Day Letter Challenge
Letter to Your Ex-Boyfriend/Girlfriend/Love/Crush I have no idea who to write this to, and since I only have six minutes until midnight, this post will technically be late unless I can figure out who to write this to in about a minute and a half. Hi. I gave up too much for you. I risked too much for you. For a long time, I felt stupid about what we did. Now I know that I was just young - way...
Day 5 - 30 Day Letter Challenge
Letter to a Deceased Person You Wish You Could Talk To Let’s just say my posts for the next few days may be /just/ on time. Just like this one. Yay for almost midnight! Letter to the deceased… this one is the first easy choice. Dear Mom, I remember the day that you died very well. I remember how your breathing went from okay to extremely shallow just as Nana, Poppy, and Uncle...
Day 4 - 30 Day Letter Challenge
Letter to Your Sibling I have two wonderfully annoying siblings =] My DEAREST Adam and Melissa, There are so many things in life that your siblings cause, and for me those include: getting in a lot of trouble with Mom after Mel made me ask for a PB&J and I didn’t eat it, having my door knocked down twice because Adam was mad (maybe that was my fault…), never getting used to...
I’m not sure what to name this yet. I decided to write some more structured poetry…. It worked out nice, in my opinion. =] What do you think? Do you like my strictly structured poems or my looser, more easygoing poems? 07/27/10 There is so much That calms my soul, That makes my smile bright. There’s quite a lot That lends control, I love throughout the night. But it’s your touch, Your selfless...
Day 3 - 30 Day Letter Challenge
Letter to the Person Who Caused You a Lot of Pain A few people have caused me a great amount of pain. When I think about who to write this to, I think about three people. When I think about what those three have done, I get stuck on one person. I’m not entirely sure that that person is the one who hurt me the most, but it’s the one that still hurts the most… so I guess I’ll write this to that...
Day 2 - 30 Day Letter Challenge
Letter to Your Crush Hi, “Crush”. I’d like you to know that I think you’re utterly and completely ridiculous. Sometimes I feel like I need to grab you and let you know exactly how ridiculous you are - but then I remember that what you do probably feels right to you, and it’s really not my place to try to get you to do differently. You truly mean so much to...
Day 1 - 30 Day Letter Challenge
Letter to Your Best Friend Honestly, I do have quite a few people that I consider to be my best friends. I can’t choose one, so I’m going to write this to the group I’ve been with for the longest. (The rest of you know who you are. <3) Dear KT, Mal, and Ali, KT: Ever since we got closer and I got to know you, you’ve been the one that I knew I could count on any day, for almost anything, at...

"Careless Love" (poem)
July 23, 2010 Confusion overwhelms Your sad, lost mind. You feel stuck in this world Without enough time. Your play turns into tears When you realize what’s lost; Your thoughts run through the years And you quickly feel the cost Of your carelessness in love, The feeling that you throw about To whatever it may reach Even though you have your doubt. Now this one’s on your mind, The one you didn’t...
Attempting to Clear My Mind
A-Z A - Available: That I am. B - Best Friend: They know who they are. D - Dad’s Name: Frank E - Easiest Person To Talk To: Kale F - Favorite Food: Spaghetti =] G - Gummy Bears Or Worms: Worms… I can’t eat gummy bears. H - Hometown: Concord-ish? I - Instrument: I play acoustic guitar the best… but I love ‘em all. J - Job: I need to find one. K - Kids:...
July 19, 2010 I appreciate your darkening thoughts (which have such depth that few can comprehend) but it’s my turn to smile (with that devilish sparkle in my eyes) and tell you the story that’s been brewing in my mind (with you on my mind) the entire time that we’ve been lying. x.
Everything has to come to an end… and most people know this. People leave. You leave. Relationships end, just as friendships do. Happiness and laughter fade, tears cease their streaming. Even love - something I believe in so, so much - may eventually fade, and does too often. And ultimately life will end. But everything has its worth. It’s important to not dwell on...
Thank you for the answers to my loneliness rant (somewhereoutside and Mal). I guess I was sort of venting - loneliness just feels SO irrational to me sometimes but it’s hard to escape from. Anyway - the answers did help me make up my mind a bit so, again… thanks. =]
I wonder how one can feel lonely when he isn’t truly alone. What kind of feeling is loneliness, really? I’ve always understood it to be the melancholy felt when no one is around…. You are alone, so you are lonely - right? The definition of “lonely” from dictionary.com is: “affected with, characterized by, or causing a depressing feeling of being alone;...
